Shyanne is an Atlanta-based rock band that walks the walk when it comes to iconic 80s tunes. Formed in the early 90s by guitarist Vic Valmus, the band originally included members Carl Brown, Kerry Denton, and Diamond Dave Wright. Each musician had been in multiple bands throughout the 80s prior to joining Shyanne. The group performed in the Southeast, opening for bands like Warrant, Foreigner, and Damn Yankees. In the mid-90s, Shyanne disbanded and Valmus went on tour with .38 Special before changing gears and enrolling in law school. Shyanne reformed around 2008 after a chance meeting between Valmus and the band’s original keyboardist, Brown.
